Introduction: Dr. Rasean Crawley is a dedicated and passionate individual committed to making a positive impact on our community. With a proven track record of community involvement, mentor development, and a deep understanding of the issues facing our city, he is the ideal candidate to represent our community on the Metro Council for the 22nd District.
Background: Born and raised in Louisville, KY, Dr. Crawley has a strong connection to our community and a firsthand understanding of its unique challenges and opportunities. He holds a Bachelors of Science degree from University of Louisville, a Master of Business Administration degree from Florida Institute of Technology, and Doctorate of Business Administration from Trident University International, equipping him with the knowledge and skills needed to address the complex issues facing our city.
Professional Experience: With over 10 years of experience in Account Management and Business Development, Dr. Crawley has a proven track record of managing annual budgets in excess of $50 million, managing relationships for a number of Fortune 100 clients, and partnering with different vertical leaders to provide solutions to challenging tasks. He currently leads the Account Management team at Humana/CenterWell Pharmacy, where he demonstrates effective leadership, strategic thinking, and a commitment to community betterment.
Community Involvement: Dr. Crawley is deeply committed to community service and has been actively involved in various local initiatives. He currently volunteers with Louisville Kappa League and Junior Kappa League serving as an advisor to JCPS students providing mentorship to young men from grades 5 to 12, demonstrating a hands-on approach to creating positive change. Dr. Crawley also serves as an active Board Member for Friends of the Louisville Zoo (FOZ) - a philanthropic board that raises funds to preserve, promote, and advance the mission of the Louisville Zoo. Dr. Crawley is also an active member of Burnett Avenue Baptist Church. This commitment reflects his selfless and genuine passion for improving the lives of our residents and community.Key Priorities: If elected to the Metro Council, Dr. Crawley has outlined several key priorities, including educational enhancements, public safety reinforcement, and sustainable development to name a few.
